Buying .ao from Angola

Thinking of forming a New Zealand syndicate to buy .ao from Angola so we can have one for Aotearoa. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

I guess the Angolans might need their domain?

Why can't we have .aa? It's logical - AoteAroa (.ao, .at and .ae are taken + it's syllabic)

I'm guessing they could buy a small, poorly equipped field hospital to fight Marburg outbreaks, or El Presidente could by himself a new Lexus with the amount of money it would take. The Angolan's can get another one, or failing that borrow a neighbour's.

.aa you reckon? Hmmm.

I like .aa.

Alphabetically speaking.

.aa? It does have that something. I think the natural two letter abbreviation for Aotearoa would be ao, but then again South Africa is still .za and that's not a hassle.

I'll have to chat with David Farrar about it as I understand he is on the internet committee for the .nz domain. We could run the republic online in preparation for the real thing - perhaps.
