How much power does Sky TV have? They are untouchable.

Months after Telecommunications Commissioner, Ross Patterson helped the Commerce Commission open up an investigation into Sky's monopoly position he has been dumped as the Telecommunications Commissioner.

The monopoly position Sky has allows them to demolish public broadcasting and their plans to lock their content exclusively into internet providers means the billion being sunk into the Ultra Fast Broadband roll out is just another de facto subsidy for bloody Sky TV again.

Sky TV has turned all our watchdogs into lap dogs.

Why we allow Rupert Murdock this level of unchallenged power is beyond me.
